The Caribbean Coffee House is a part of this tradition of coffee in the Islands. Roasting began in 1931with the Melizans, a Trinidadian family with a coffee plantation and Jose Perez, a Cuban coffee connoisseur and roast master. Sixty years later the tradition lives on in Café Trinité.
